I am in a creative rut. I can't seem to draw ANYTHING! I got this brand new Wacom and haven't even put out a final piece with it. I tried switching back to traditional sketching(something I've opted out of my art for quite some time) but I found myself even more frustrated. I have commissioners who are waiting breathlessly for ANYTHING but I end up messing up and throwing the pen. I'm trying to find elements of inspiration that may be missing. Music, games, writing, peers/friends... When I was in highschool, THAT was when I was the most creatively charged. I was in an artistic school so there was always this creative energy toiling about. I had a posse of friends, I wrote novels, I illustrated EVERYTHING, and I was constantly growing. Now I feel like I am in an all-round rut... No growth. No spiritual growth, no financial growth, no creative growth... I'm a lil' mess and I can't seem to figure out WHY!
